Ann joined Summit View Advisors in 2020 because the firm’s values were right in alignment with hers: integrity, forthrightness, balance, kindness, and connection.
What makes Ann different from other financial advisors is her ability to create a solid vision based on generous listening skills and a deep interest in understanding where each client is coming from. Rather than transactional sales, she is a trusted partner on their journey. It is her mission to help them get to where they want to go, so she can celebrate with them when they get there.
In early 2017, Ann joined New York Life, but after 4 years there, she wanted to be able to offer more opportunities to her clients. Now, with Summit View Advisors, she’s able to be that fiduciary and financial advisor she wants to be. Ann takes a mindful approach with financial advising, blending an awareness around mindset with a financial plan.
Ann is passionate about helping women become financially independent. She believes that it is critical for each person to be in the driver’s seat of their financial well-being so they are never in a position they don’t want to be in because of money. She also loves working with DINKS (double-income/no kids) to help them leverage their situation so that they can accomplish what they want – whether that be retiring early or leaving a legacy to a cause they believe in. Ann believes that a strong financial foundation allows people to have choice in their lives. She is intentional, relationship-driven, compassionate, and caring with everyone she works with.
Ann graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Springfield College in Massachusetts where she majored in Communications. While at New York Life, Ann was an Executive Council member each year, and was one of the top agents of her class. She is a Million Dollar Round Table Member, which its membership is recognized internationally as the standard of excellence in the life insurance and financial service business.
Ann holds FINRA series 6, 63, 7 and 66 licenses. She also has her Life, Health, and Long-Term Care licenses in the state of Colorado and various other states.
She is also a certified yoga instructor and meditation teacher and likes to incorporate these practices into her work for “mindful money” events.
A New England native, Ann loves the outdoors. She is typically hiking, running, bike riding, skiing or camping on the weekends. She loves to travel and tributes her independence to solo trips she’s taken around the world. She and her husband love spending time in Baja, Mexico, as well as taking van trips around the beautiful state of Colorado.
